ST MICHAEL'S MOUNT…

St Michael's Mount is a small rocky island in Mount's Bay, Cornwall, England. It is crowned by a medieval church and castle and is linked to the town of Marazion by a man-made causeway of granite setts (rectangular quarried stone used for paving roads), walkable between mid-tide and low water.

able to cross the causeway on foot at low tide

tales of Jack the giant killer have swirled around the beautiful Cornish coastline for nearly six hundred years

due to high tide, the return trip to St Ives was in a boat
