After a train ride from Gatwick, we arrived in Canterbury. Canterbury is a historic English cathedral city and an UNESCO World Heritage Site.

 

We stayed the first night in Cathedral Gate Hotel, literally in an Attic Room, which had a very slanted floor and huge wooden beams over our bed. Two bathrooms were down the hall.
